Cross Fade

Cross Fade Definition - What is a Cross Fade?

Cross fading is what occurs when two sounds are blending in together to produce a single sound. It is a common occurrence when one song ends and simultaneously another song is starting as well. It is also useful for blending two separate song's or audio pieces together that have similarities between the two sources to create a smooth transition from one song to another.
