User Engagement

User Engagement Definition - What is User Engagement?

User engagement refers to the number of users who answer an advertisement's call to action. In the case of podcasts, this may be a request to like or subscribe, to visit a webpage, or check out the content provider on other services (i.e. a podcast asks the listener to check them out on Twitter). A few examples of user engagement may be the number of users who visit a website in response to an ad, the number of users who use a promo code from a specific advertisement. In TV advertisement this would be much the same, the number of viewers who see an ad and call a number, visit a website, or use a type of promo code to reference the TV commercial.
